Everton Football Club has announced a significant addition to its shareholder group with the arrival of NBA legend and coach, Jason Kidd. The former Dallas Mavericks head coach has joined the Roundhouse Capital Holdings group, part of the Friedkin Group, which acquired control of the Liverpool club last December.

Everton, currently 13th in the Premier League, is set to leave its historic Goodison Park home to move to the state-of-the-art Averton Stadium at the Bramley-Moore Dock next season. The new stadium, costing nearly a billion euros, will have 52,888 seats and steeply sloped stands to bring fans closer to the action.
