Everton Welcomes NBA Great Jason Kidd to Ownership Group

Goodison Park will now be home to another sports legend as Everton has welcomed NBA great, Jason Kidd, to its ownership group. The 52-year-old Hall of Fame point guard and current Dallas Mavericks coach will be joining Roundhouse Capital Holdings, part of the Friedkin Group that took control of Everton last year.

Kidd’s Impressive Basketball Career Enhances Everton’s Prospects

Kidd, a respected leader and household name in sports, won an NBA title with the Mavericks in 2011 and was a two-time Olympic gold medalist with the U.S. national team in 2000 and 2008. He’s also guided the Mavericks to the NBA Finals as a coach and has previously managed the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks.
