University of Delaware Bolsters Roster with Transfer Jameel Brown
Newark, Del. – University of Delaware men’s basketball head coach Martin Ingelsby, today announced the addition of transfer Jameel Brown to the Blue Hens’ roster for the upcoming fall season.

The 6-4 guard from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, joins the Blue Hens after stops at Penn State and Temple. While at Penn State, Brown saw action in 41 games over two seasons, averaging 3.3 points and 1.6 rebounds. After a season with the Owls in 2021-22, where he averaged 5.3 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.0 steals per game, Brown heads to Newark to continue his collegiate career.

- At Haverford School, Brown guided his team to a 28-0 record and championship victories.
- He was named First Team All-State as a junior and a finalist for Pennsylvania Mr. Basketball in his senior season at Westtown School.
