The Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin noted that under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Turkey, there is a process of establishing the terms of education and sports on an unprecedented scale in the world, and said, “It is a national responsibility to create a process that can fill it and combine sports and education, academic education and sports education.” I thought it was the duty of the Ministry of Education and I made it a dream for myself. Saying that they bring unique features to issues such as creating the curriculum and assigning educational staff to schools defined as “project schools”, Tekin stated that they are building a joint vocational high school with chambers of commerce and industry and major industry organizations. In terms of sports, Minister Tekin opened joint schools with sports federations, especially the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and asked the children “Academic education or sports education?” He explained that they have developed projects to ensure that his sports infrastructure is improved and that he receives a good academic education without being involved in conflict.
