10,000 Enjoy ‘Incheon Well Medy Festa’ – A Celebration of Health and Wellness
Incheon, South Korea – More than 10,000 citizens and tourists flocked to the ‘2025 Incheon Well Medy Festa’, a four-day wellness festival held across the city. The event, themed around ‘Forest, Forest’, offered a unique blend of local attractions and wellness experiences for participants and visitors.
Growing Popularity and Richer Experiences
The third edition of the event, held since 2023, saw an increase in size and popularity, with more visitors and expanded programs. The main event at the Incheon Station imaginary platform offered various experiences like healing stretches, pilates classes with celebrity instructor Nam Ji-hyun, and blood and sweat therapies. Additionally, a collaboration hall with wellness fitness reservation platform ‘Obud’ was set up.

Regional Events Draw Crowds
Regional events also proved popular. The ‘Island Village Experience’ at Ganghwa Goryeo Palace, the ‘Healing Starlight Yoga and Meditation’ at Songdo Tri-Ball Square, and the ‘Yeongjongdo Yoga Festival’ attracted large numbers, with pre-bookings closing early due to high demand.
Incheon’s Wellness Tourism Aspirations
The event also hosted the Incheon Well Medy Convergence Forum, discussing measures to implement the Healing Tourism Industry Act and develop wellness tourism products. Mayor Yoo Jung-bok emphasized Incheon’s intention to expand wellness and medical tourism convergence contents based on the event’s success.
