The engines are warming up to watch the start of the sporting season of the Mascio Orzinuovi Group, a team that will participate in the next Serie A2 Lnp Old Wild West. THE AUGUST PROGRAM:
August 12 – Closed door meeting at PalaBertocchi in Orzinuovi, 5.30 pm, for the first athletic tests and orthopedic assessments of the staff. Training sessions will be held behind closed doors throughout the week.
August 18 – Press conference to present the sports season, 4:30 pm, at PalaBertocchi in Orzinuovi. Followed by open-door training at 6 pm.
From 19 to 25 August – Taking Clusone.
August 25th – Friendly match, 5:00 pm, in Clusone, with SAM Massagno.
August 28 – Friendly match, 6:00 pm, in Vigevano.
August 29 – Presentation of the team and youth sector, 8:00 pm, in the square behind the Orzinuovi Castle.
August 31st – Friendly match, 6:00 pm, at PalaBertocchi in Orzinuovi against UCC Assigeco Piacenza.
THE MEETING
On August 12 at 5.30pm at PalaBertocchi in Orzinuovi the GATHERING BEHIND CLOSED DOORSwhen the first seasonal athletic tests will be conducted and, following, the orthopedic evaluation. The whole week of training was behind closed doors, while the meeting specifically organized for the press and the Biancoblù supporters was only postponed for a few days.
The gathering on August 12 will also serve as a way for the staff, management and players to get to know each other, hold the first photo shoot and outline, all, the working method and goals to be pursued for this season. . Always under the coach’s orders Franco Ciani and the physical trainer Luciano D’Anciccothe blue and white translators will therefore alternate training only in athletics with basketball sessions at PalaBertocchi always with the doors closed until the media day on Sunday 18 August.
ON AUGUST 18 AT 4:30 PM MEDIA DAY AT PALABERTOCCHI, FOLLOWED BY OPEN DOOR TRAINING
The press conference to present the Mascio Orzinuovi Group 2024/2025 is scheduled for August 18, at 4.30 pm, at PalaBertocchi in Orzinuovi. For journalists and professionals it is an opportunity to meet the players and the whole Orlando entourage and at the end of the conference, therefore at 6:00 pm, an open training session will be held: in this way fans and the press will have a chance to see the team in action.
CLUSONE’S RETREAT AND THE COMPARESO AGAINST SAM BASKET MASSAGNO
For coach Ciani’s boys, from Monday 19 August to Sunday 25 August the retreat is scheduled in Clusone, a town in Val Seriana in the province of Bergamo. For a week of intense work at altitude, which will end with a friendly match on Sunday 25 August, at 5 pm, again in Clusone, against SAM Basket Massagno, a team that plays in Swiss Basketball League.
IL 28 AUGUST TEST IN VIGEVANO

The Orceans will return to the field on Saturday 31 August, at 6:00 pm, at PalaBertocchi in Orzinuovi for a friendly match against UCC Assigeco Piacenza.
