Description
The pay-TV channel SPORT1+ has one of the best ice hockey leagues in the world, the Svenska Hockeyligan (SHL), in its program. In the Swedish league, everything revolves around the coveted Le Mat Cup. Skellefteå AIK from the north of the country were recently crowned champions. The team defeated Rögle BK 4:1 in the decisive game and thus celebrated the second title in the club’s history. The strength of the SHL is also evident in the European Champions Hockey League (CHL), where Swedish teams have always played an important role in recent years.
