The coach of “Levski” Stanislav Genchev was very satisfied with the performance of his team in the control with “Botev” (Vratsa), won with 3:2. He noted that his team created many chances even with 10 men on the field – a situation imposed by Fabio Lima’s injury.
“I am satisfied with the situations and the scored goals, with the efforts of the players. During this week we had serious workloads approaching the preparation period. The footballers have put their best effort. When I looked at them now, the data ran quite a serious mileage. The bad thing is that Fabio Lima got injured. He is a very important player and we very much hoped that with his return we would raise the competitiveness in attack and the efficiency in scoring chances. In general, everything else is good, only praise for the boys,” Genchev began.
“When the team plays with spirit and confidence, combinationally, we have good performers in every line, things work out. The boys worked hard, scored three goals and we made some very good attacks. With 10 men we scored another goal and created 2 clean sheets. This is a good certificate for us offensively, we are diverse. I am very pleased with this fact. Even with 10 people we can create chances for every team. I am very pleased with the overall performance of the team. Now we will have two days off and then we start preparing for CSKA 1948. I hope the national team will be healthy and join the training process, because last week we trained with a rather small number of people – 13, 14 players. We need more people to be given specific tactical tasks and to get a situation as close as possible to the official matches and for the players to get used to it more easily”, concluded the coach of the “blues”.
