Hideki Matsuyama left the field by shooting a 64 in St. Jude Classic on Saturday, leading by five shots over Nick Dunlap.
Victim of a bogey early in his round, Matsuyama responded with an eagle on the next hole, thanks to a 15-foot putt.
The Japanese also had five birdies, en route to a total of 193, minus 17. Dunlap also collected five birdies, en route to a 66. Winning the American Express tournament as an amateur in January, Dunlap won also at the Barracuda Championship last month, as a professional.

The Maple Leafs were also represented by Taylor Pendrith (71 at -3), Corey Conners (70 at minus -1), Adam Hadwin (67 at minus -1) and Mackenzie Hughes (70 at +1).
The top 50 from this tournament will advance to the BMW Championship near Denver next week.
