Grigor Dimitrov did what it took to win his first game of the new season.
At the tournament in Brisbane, the best Bulgarian tennis player in history began the defense of his title with a 7:6 (7:5), 6:3 victory against the German Jannik Hanfman. So Grigor has already won 24 matches in this tournament – a record.
This match had little in common with the previous one between the two, when in Miami Dimitrov gave only a game. Now Hanfman broke first, Grigor returned it once, and in the tiebreak he missed several set points before winning it.
