New Owners Revitalize Mignaloux-Beauvoir Golf Course with Fresh Vision

Golf Course Changes Hands After 15 Years

After 15 years under the Nicolay family’s stewardship, the Mignaloux-Beauvoir Golf Course has new owners. A group of five Poitevin entrepreneurs, including Jean-Marie Broquin and siblings Manuel and Aurélien Pétreau, François and Guillaume Colasson, have taken the reins of this 92-hectare site, which boasts an 18-hole course, academy, clubhouse, and golf simulator.

New Owners: Not Golfers, But Enamored with the Space

“We’re not golfers ourselves,” admits Manuel Pétreau, one of the new owners. “But we fell in love with the place during our visit. It’s a rare, atypical space that deserves to be better known.” The new managers, grouped within a SAS, aim to shed the course’s “sleeping beauty” image and attract a wider, younger clientele.

Revitalization Plans: Communicate Differently, Multiply Animations

  • **New Amenities:** A bowling alley and tavern have been installed near the practice ground, open Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • **Catering Review:** The catering offer will be reviewed to develop the event side, including seminars, weddings, and a coworking space.
  • **Clubhouse Rehabilitation:** The clubhouse will be fully rehabilitated by 2026 in collaboration with the interior architecture agency A2i from Poitiers.

New Director Brings Fresh Perspective

The acquisition coincides with the arrival of new director Édouard Guillaumet, previously from the Golf des Forges in Deux-Sèvres. He leads a team of seven employees, including gardeners and golf school teachers, and is confident in the course’s potential.
