The legendary Puerto Rican player Juan Antonio “Chi Chi” Rodríguez He died on Thursday, the cause of his death has not yet been disclosed.

Rodriguez’s death This was announced by Carmelo Javier Ríos, senator of Puerto Rico, where Rodríguez is from. He did not give the cause of death.
“Chi Chi Rodríguez’s passion for charity and outreach is surpassed only by her extraordinary talent with a golf club in her hand,” said the commissioner of PGA Tour, Jay Monahan, in a statement. “A vibrant and colorful personality on and off the golf course, he will be greatly missed by the PGA Tour and those whose lives he touched in his mission to give back. “The PGA Tour sends its deepest condolences to the entire Rodriguez family in this difficult time.”
Juan Antonio Rodríguez He was the second of six children, in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico, when the area was covered with sugarcane and where he helped his father harvest when he was young. The area is now a dense urban landscape, part of San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico.
