Georgia Tech’s men’s tennis team is gearing up for the ACC Championships, set to kick off this Wednesday, April 16 in Cary, N.C. As the No. 11 seed, the Yellow Jackets will face off against No. 14 seed Louisville at 6 p.m.

In their previous meeting this season, Tech secured a 4-1 victory over Louisville in Atlanta. Key singles wins were secured by Gabriele Brancatelli, Christophe Clement, and Gianluca Carlini.

Tech finds itself ranked 45th in the latest ITA poll, with Clement and Nate Bonetto sitting at 109 and 114 in the singles rankings respectively. Doubles teams Bonetto and Carlini (No.11), and Arora and Clement (No. 80) also hold strong rankings.

Christophe Clement, leader of the team with 15 dual match wins, has been consistently dominant with a 7-1 record in his last eight matches and a 9-1 performance in conference play this spring.

Duo Gianluca Carlini and Nate Bonetto lead the team in doubles with 12 wins in the spring, including six conference victories.

As they take to the courts in Cary, the Yellow Jackets’ focus and team spirit are sure to propel them towards success. Whether they’ll rise to the top remains to be seen, but one thing is for certain – Georgia Tech men’s tennis will be a force to be reckoned with at the ACC Championships.
