A Passion for Sports Journalism

As a holder of a Master’s degree in international law, I came to the realization that it was crucial to pursue a career in a field that I truly appreciate. This led me to make the decision to follow my passion for sports, putting an end to my parents’ dream of me becoming a lawyer. Since then, I have dedicated myself to covering transfer windows and delivering sports news, striving to keep readers well-informed.

Gennaro Gattuso Takes Charge at OM

Gennaro Gattuso, the former coach of AC Milan and a World Champion in 2006, has been chosen to replace Marcelino as the head coach of OM. The Italian tactician arrives in France with a reputation for being occasionally overexcited on the sidelines. However, some Ligue 1 coaches believe that Gattuso’s arrival could bring about a transformation for OM this season.

Gattuso coached his first match this Saturday against AS Monaco, marking his debut in Ligue 1 just a few days after signing his contract with Marseille. His contract is set to expire at the end of the season, and in order to secure a longer stay at the club, he will need to secure a place within the top four. Adi Hütter, the coach of the evening’s opponent, believes that Gattuso’s arrival will be beneficial for OM.

“He will bring new ideas to OM”

“When we talk about Gennaro Gattuso, we remember the great footballer, he was phenomenal with the Italian national team. He was a world champion in 2006 and I admired his aggressiveness at AC Milan. He was a highly aggressive player (…) He will bring new ideas and emotions to OM, one of the biggest clubs in France. The players will be motivated to impress their new coach. It’s never easy for a new coach to implement significant changes.” stated the coach of AS Monaco during a press conference.

Grosso Excited for Reunion with Gattuso

Another coach eagerly awaits the opportunity to face Gattuso. It is his former teammate in the national team, Fabio Grosso, who currently manages OL. “I wish him the best. He’s a great guy. We have a strong relationship, but in three weeks… (referring to OM-OL on 10/29, editor’s note). I wish him well. There may be external challenges, but he possesses qualities,” shared the 2006 World Champion. The stage is set for their encounter.
