Two Cities, One Passion: Judo Brings Évreux to Rüsselsheim
The small town of Rüsselsheim am Main in Germany has recently hosted a special event that transcends borders, as a group of 26 judoka from Évreux, France, arrived for a cultural exchange and high-level training session.

The visit is made possible by a funding program provided by the French Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth. “Évreux Judo” sought an elite judo club for an international exchange, leading them to the Rüsselsheim Judo Club.
Opening Session with Eduard Trippel
The international training kicked off with a special session led by Eduard Trippel, an Olympic silver medalist from Rüsselsheim. The group, ranging in age from 12 to 65, will spend the week (April 14-19) attending further training sessions and exploring the area under the guidance of the Hessian Judo Association.
