In a nail-biting match at the Arena Porte de la Chapelle, French brothers Toma Junior and Christo Popov came close to causing an upset against the Malaysian pair Man Wei Chong and Kai Wun Tee, seeded number 7 in the World Championships badminton.
Despite leading 16-11 in the decisive third set, the brothers ultimately fell short, losing 15-21, 21-13, 19-21.
