Lille Climbing Festival Offers Free Fitness & Climbing Activities This Weekend

Climbing enthusiasts of all ages can participate in the free festival at Climb Up Lille Centre.

Lille residents can enjoy a weekend of free fitness and climbing activities at Climb Up, a well-known sports complex in the city center, this Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8, 2026.

A Weekend of Free Activities

The 2026 Climbing Festival, held at 12 rue de la Riviérette, aims to attract new customers by offering a variety of free activities for all ages and skill levels. The event is totally free.

Climbing for All Ages

Supervised climbing sessions are available for young people from 3 to 18 years old, though spaces are limited. For those preferring independent climbing, the bouldering blocks will be accessible all weekend without reservation, allowing anyone to pretend to be Spider-man, in complete autonomy.

Beyond Climbing: Fitness and Relaxation

The festival extends beyond climbing, offering free classes in pilates, yoga, stretching, and muscle strengthening (booty & abs) led by One Fitness on Saturday. Students from the Institute of Physiotherapy Pedicure Podiatry Orthopedics (IKPO) in Lille will be providing free massages.

Many other activities and workshops will enliven the room during the two days (competitions, games, riddles) to accommodate at least as many people as in 2025, i.e. 800 sportsmen and women.

Pro Tip: Reservations are required for the Saturday fitness classes. Visit the Climb Up website to secure your spot.
