Electric Racing Meets Digital Precision
Formula E and Ubisoft have announced the return of Formula E to the popular racing platform, Trackmania, for a third consecutive year. This year brings a significant shift with the introduction of Weekly Shorts
, a new competitive format designed to celebrate Formula E’s Teams & Partners and challenge the gaming community’s versatility.
Since the collaboration began, Formula E has brought the world of electric racing to Ubisoft’s platform, featuring six Formula E tracks – Sao Paolo, Miami, Diriyah, Berlin, Tokyo and London – and two seasons worth of Team skins.
What are ‘Weekly Shorts’?
The transition to Weekly Shorts
marks a change in how players engage with Formula E content. Instead of focusing on long-form e-prix events, this season introduces 15 new tracks released across three race weeks. These tracks are designed to push players to their limits by requiring mastery of different driving disciplines.
Each week features a group of five tracks, each dedicated to a specific style of play: Lol, Puzzle, Wide, Fast, and Slow. This rotation ensures players cannot rely on a single skillset, testing their adaptability from the chaotic precision of “Lol” tracks to the technical navigation of “Puzzle” layouts and the raw adrenaline of “Fast” circuits.
Competition Schedule & Prizes
Formula E will roll out three dedicated weeks of Shorts, offering multiple opportunities to climb the leaderboards:
- Week 1 – CUPRA Raval Madrid E-Prix race week: Started March 15
- Week 2 – Hankook Berlin E-Prix race week: Starting April 25
- Week 3 – Monaco E-Prix race week: Starting May 9
Competition will be fierce, with prizes awarded for the fastest combined lap times across all five circuits each week:
- 1st Place: 2 Grandstand seats for your nearest Formula E race in the 26/27 season.
- 2nd Place: A replica Spark Minimax GEN3 Car + a Formula E Goodie Bag.
- 3rd-5th Place: A Formula E Goodie Bag.
Team Integration and Themed Tracks
The partnership extends beyond the digital realm, with each of the 15 tracks themed after a specific Formula E Championship Team or Partner. The first week features tracks inspired by CUPRA KIRO, Jaguar TCS Racing, Mahindra Racing, PIF and Hankook. Weeks 2 and 3 will showcase tracks designed around Andretti, Citroën Racing, DS PENSKE, Envision Racing, Lola Yamaha, Nissan, and Porsche, as well as partners including ABB, Saudia, and Google Cloud.
All 10 official team liveries for the 2025/26 campaign are now available in-game, allowing players to represent their favorite teams.
Accessibility and Community Focus
The Weekly Shorts
format aims to provide accessible, high-intensity racing. Records for these maps are hidden during the initial hunt, adding a layer of competitive tension. The format caters to both casual players and hardcore competitors.
