La Liga MX faces new controversy after the former referee Felipe Ramos Rizo reported, through his official X account (formerly Twitter), an alleged case of sexual and labor harassment in the Arbitration Commission.
According to Ramos Rizo, the referee Avril Herrera He would have been a victim of harassment by three members of the Commission, who would have the support of senior officials such as Armando Archundia, Enrique Osses and Roberto Paredes to cover up the situation.
On December 24, Ramos Rizo had warned about legal problems in the Commission, pointing out that there were lawsuits in process, complaints of harassment and pressure to act with transparency. “Between legal lawsuits that are in process, others to come and two complaints of workplace harassment, this is how things are in arbitration,” he wrote at the time. In his most recent publication, he revealed that Avril Herrera, third division standard bearer, filed a formal complaint but, according to the former whistler, the Commission is trying to silence her.
