The championship was a complete success and provided an exciting experience for all participants. The very small judokas aged five years in particular created a “Jöö effect” among the spectators.
First big competition
Many judokas took part in this sporting event and for many of them it was the first big competition. The excitement and joy were clearly noticeable.
A total of eight categories were held in which the judokas were able to demonstrate their skills. The duels were characterized by successful throws and fair fights that captivated both the participants and the spectators.
Exciting and intense fights
The men not only fought for the coveted title of club champion, but also for the challenge cup. Despite the lack of weight classes and age divisions, all participants showed impressive ambition and commitment. The fights were exciting and very intense.
At the end of the day, Silvio Leuzinger was able to prevail again and won the challenge cup for the third time.
This year, for the first time, an award was given for the most beautiful technology. Cyrill Thoma and Rosie Rankin were able to secure this special title in the club’s history.
After the ranking was announced, Shakira Gabteni was honored as the most successful fighter in the club.
Competition and socializing
The club championship was not only a sporting competition, but also a wonderful opportunity to cultivate sociability in the club. The celebration continued until late into the night.
