The President of the RFEF Presents Motivational Video Ahead of Spain-Sweden Match to Showcase Strong Relationship Among Football Players

Rubiales Asks Alexia and Aitana, Among Others, to Respond to His Motivational Requests

Luis Rubiales, the president of the RFEF, unveiled a video that demonstrates how to overcome a three-year disqualification when facing potential punishment from the Tribunal Administrativo del Deporte (TAD). The exclusive video, published by ‘El Español’, captures the speech given by Luis Rubiales before the semifinal match between Spain and Sweden (2-1) on August 15th in Auckland.

For five minutes, Rubiales urges the players to give their best against the Swedes. He even jokes with Jenni Hermoso and, to motivate the group, he asks several players, including Alexia and Aitana, to step up when questioned. The word “ovarios” (ovaries) is also mentioned during the speech.

The video corresponds to the technical talk given by coach Jorge Vilda before the World Cup semifinal. The coach invited Luis Rubiales to speak, saying, “Luis, I am delighted that we will be with the team.” Rubiales then appears and expresses his excitement, stating, “It’s the first thing I know. It’s the kind of thing I want to do.”

“I am speaking in front of 23 women football players, the 23 best football players in the world who have gone through all kinds of hardships, and today you are here to face the biggest challenge of your lives. There will be a before and after this match,” Rubiales said before the group.
