Entre Ríos qualifies for the semifinals of the Promotion A Selected Tournament in under 19 women’s hockey

The Entre Ríos women’s Under 19 field hockey team secured their spot as a semi-finalist in the Promotion A Selected Tournament, held in Santa Fe. In the next stage of the competition, the Panza Verde girls will face Uruguay at 5 p.m. on the field of the Santa Fe Hockey Association (ASH), aiming for a place in the grand final.

The representative of the Entre Ríos Hockey Federation (FEH) concluded the first phase with a hard-fought victory against Bahiense, winning 3-2 at the El Quillá synthetic stadium, where all three of their Zone A games were played. After trailing behind in the first half (1-2), Entre Ríos staged an impressive comeback in the second half to secure the victory.

With two wins and a draw, the girls finished the first phase of the championship, which will continue until October 1 in the capital of Santa Fe. In their debut match, they drew 2-2 with San Juan, and then achieved their first victory with a resounding 6-1 win against Austral.
