The Parque Almirante Laulhé Municipal Pavilion will host the III Las Cortes Women’s Basketball Tournament from September 20 to 22, sponsored by Club + Que Veterana in collaboration with the San Fernando City Council and the Andalusian Basketball Federation. In this sense, they point to +Que Veteranas as “a reference” in the city for its work and determination to fight against age and gender stereotypes in the universe of basketball and sports in general, where they are always in Town hall. of an ally.

For his part, Madroñal congratulated the veterans of the island for promoting a tournament that grows every year and now has acquired a national dimension, guaranteeing that they will continue their support and collaboration with the Andalusian Basketball Federation in the future.

The president of the club thanked the FAB and the City Council for their support of this tournament, whose goals combine “health, sports and entertainment, in addition to promoting female veterans.” In this sense, it is focused on the fact that it is not only a competitive sporting event, but also about fun and coexistence. In fact, on the third day of the tournament there will be no competition, instead the day consists of the participating teams who will visit and get to know San Fernando, therefore contributing to the development and creation of the city’s economy.

Regarding the competition, it will take place in the three basketball courts of the Municipal Pavilion in Almirante Laulhé Park in the morning (from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and in the afternoon (from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.: 00 p.m.). There are four groups of three teams each with a league system.
