Grigor Dimitrov misses the third day of competition at the Laver Cup. The Bulgarian has the physical problems he experienced in his victory over Alejandro Tabillo on Friday night, most likely the injury from the US Open which is still bothering him.

On today’s last day of the tournament in Berlin, the program opens with the pairs Carlos Alcaraz/Casper Ruud against Ben Shelton/Francis Tiafoe. Daniil Medvedev will next face Shelton in singles, and then, depending on the other results, there could also be a match between Alexander Zverev and Tiafoe. Potentially the final bout on the schedule will be Alcaraz vs. Fritz.

The world leads 8-4 on Europe after two days, with victories for the representatives of the Old Continent in singles coming from Grigor, Alkaras and Stefanos Tsitsipas.
