A 23-year-old Belgian who races in the Italian GT Sprint championship with a Ferrari 488 Challenge was stopped in Milan
Reported for driving while intoxicated and resisting a public official. Belgian pilot Gilles Renmans’ night in Milan ended in barracks. Twenty-three year old Renmans concluded the Italian season of the GT Sprint championship last October 6th with a second place in race 2 in Monza aboard the Ferrari 488 Challenge of the Roman team Double TT Racing.

The young driver and a friend of the same age leave a nightclub late at night to head to the BMW Series 2 registered to the friend. The 23-year-old tries to leave in the German sedan but fails. At that point the police checks come into play. According to what was reported by the Milanese newspaper, the young man opposes the requests to present documents and undergo a breathalyzer test, at least at first. Taken to the offices of the Montebello barracks, he will be released with the report at large.
