Domus Mulieris Hunts for Another Win; U19 and U17 Teams Face Tough Challenges
Senior Team Aims to Maintain Momentum
The senior Domus Mulieris basketball team returns to action this Saturday, January 17, with a crucial match against JR Basket Roma in their quest to continue as the first pursuers of league leaders Frecce Romane and maintain their playoff ambitions.
The team, led by coach Carlo Scaramuccia, looks to build on their victorious streak that started before the Christmas break and was recently extended against Rome City. However, they will be without forward Marigliano due to physical problems.
But there’s good news as Bulgarian center Stanislavova, who missed the Rome City game, will be back. The game starts at 6 pm and will be officiated by referees Tommaso Impagliazzo from Rome and Gianluca Giancola from Monterotondo (RM).
U19 Team Faces Undefeated San Raffaele
The Domus Mulieris under 19 team, also led by coach Scaramuccia, has a significant challenge ahead as they visit an undefeated San Raffaele team on Monday, January 19, at 7:45 pm. The test is made even tougher as San Raffaele has proven itself a traditionally difficult venue to conquer.
The U19 team will look to build on their recent victory against Basket Roma in this crucial game. Referees for this match are Eric Vesprini and Francesco Galati of Rome.
U17 Team Hosts Frecce Romane
The under 17 ItLogix team plays host to Frecce Romane on Tuesday, January 20, at 7:30 pm. A mere two points separate the two teams in the standings, with home-court advantage potentially playing a decisive role. The team will be led by coaches Daniele Catalani and Stefano Paparozzi.
The referees for this match are Federico Di Gaetano and Vincenzo Di Peppo, both from Viterbo.
