Harry Brook wins Test batting rankings
Harry Brook has been praised for his impressive performance in the final Test against New Zealand. He has now dislodged his teammate Joe Root from the top spot in the Test batting rankings. Australia’s Travis Head capitalized on his best form against India at the Adelaide Oval. Travis Head moves up 5 spots to join the top-10. Sri Lanka’s Kamindu Mendis and South Africa’s Temba Bavuma have moved up the rankings and are now ranked 6th and 7th respectively. Australian batsman Steve Smith has now dropped three places to 11th.
The legend created history, scored two centuries in just 137 balls and led his team to victory.
Bumrah tops the bowling test
Jasprit Bumrah continues to top the Test bowling rankings released by the ICC, while Ravichandran Ashwin has dropped one place to 5. Ravindra Jadeja has been doing well to retain his sixth place. Kasigo Rabada of South Africa is second, Josh Hazlewood of Australia is third and Pat Cummins is fourth with a one place improvement. Australia’s Nathan Lyon and Sri Lanka’s Prabhat Jayasuriya are ranked 7th and 8th respectively. New Zealand’s Matt Henry and Pakistan’s Noman Ali have improved by one place to 9 and 1 respectively. India’s Mohammed Siraj is ranked 25th and gained one place. India’s Kuldeep Yadav is now ranked 22nd after dropping three places.
