With high-quality judogi, innovative teamwear and a shared vision, the two partners are ready to present the sport of judo in Germany on the national and international stage.
Adapting to the opening training camp
As part of the first training camp of the year in Maintal, the athletes got to try their new judogi from IPPONGEAR for the first time. An important moment, because the optimal fit and quality of the equipment has an important role in sporting performance.
“The contact with DJB in advance is always cooperative and has one goal: to offer German athletes the best possible equipment,” emphasizes Stefan Kneitinger, CEO of IPPONGEAR. “With two IJF models, three cut versions of the judo jacket and two cut versions of the judo pants, we are convinced that we can offer the right judo suit for every athlete.”
Strong together: More than judogi
But the collaboration between DJB and IPPONGEAR goes beyond equipping the national team. From June 2025, IPPONGEAR will introduce the new “Iconic Teamwear”, which will provide DJB and the German club with high-quality teamwear products.
“The iconic teamwear will be available in four colors and five different products: T-shirts, hoodies, track jackets, long pants and shorts. This collection will be available until 2028 and will therefore provide a long-term solution for of clubs and athletes,” explains Stefan Kneitinger.
