San Antonio Unidos’ victory against Fernández Vial brought the competition up to date in the Second Division. The above caused Deportes Rengo and General Velásquez to drop one place in the classification.
Due to the above, what happens on date 25 – the penultimate of the championship – is of utmost importance to define the final locations of the competition.
This weekend, General Velásquez (6th, 34 points), will be the first to act. The greens will visit one of the leaders, Deportes Concepción (2nd, 51 units), and will have to face a rival that will be supported by 20 thousand spectators, considering that they are fighting to return to B.
That match will be played on Saturday starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Ester Roa Rebelledo stadium.
For its part, Deportes Rengo (5th, 36 points), will measure forces with the already relegated Arturo Fernández Vial (14th, 8 points). For the gold and sky, it will be their last home game of the season and will be played on Sunday at noon at the Guillermo Guzmán Díaz municipal stadium. There, they expect a good turnout to close what, so far, has been their best year in professionalism.
It should be noted that, after this weekend, there will be one more date, where Velásquez will receive Deportes Puerto Montt and Rengo will travel to the Coquimbo region to visit Provincial Ovalle.
