Denver Nuggets Head Coach Provides Update on Jamal Murray’s Recovery
Positive Progress in Murray’s Rehabilitation
Denver Nuggets head coach, Michael Malone, has revealed that star player Jamal Murray will be joining the team on their upcoming tour, which includes five away games. This news comes as a positive development in Murray’s recovery from a right hamstring strain, an injury that has sidelined him for the team’s last four games.
Uncertainty Surrounding Murray’s Return
While Murray’s presence on the tour is a step forward, Coach Malone has not confirmed whether the talented point guard will be able to participate in any of the upcoming games. In an interview with The Denver Gazette, Malone stated, “I cannot say for certain if he will play during this trip. However, I am aware of his relentless efforts to make a comeback, as indicated by the medical reports I receive. He is showing positive progress every day.”
Tour Schedule and Team’s Performance
The tour is scheduled to run until November 24 and will see the Nuggets face off against the Pelicans, Cavaliers, Pistons, Magic, and Rockets. Despite Murray’s absence, the Denver Nuggets continue to dominate the Western Conference with an impressive 9-2 record.
