Authored an excellent start to the season marked by a win over South Africa in the Challenge Tour and a podium two weeks later in the same country at a high level, David Ravetto has somewhat disappeared from the front pages of the leaderboards in recent months, especially after being accused of five uncut cuts in its last six appearances in DP World Tour. The summer vacation clearly allowed him to find his bearings from the end of the winter, when he scored cards under par, regardless of the layout or circuit.

After yesterday’s solid 68 (-4) in the opening, the Racingman now uses a recipe whose effectiveness has been proven many times: plant the masts and sink putts. Two birdies on 11 and 13 (he started from 10) best launched him, before an eagle on 16 pushed him among the leading men; after that the departure PGA National Oaks Prague the way destroyed, with five birdies in nine holes, for a 63 (-9) that constitutes not only the best score of the day, but also the course record, equaling performances that achieved earlier in the Englishman’s day. Andrew Johnston and the American Kevin Chappell. The icing on the cake: after 36 holes, Ravetto is the sole leader at -13 total, one stroke ahead of said Johnston, the Swede Jesper Svensson and the Scotsman Richie Ramsay !
