Ponce Lions Bolster Roster with NBA Vet Darius Bazley
The Ponce Lions, of the Ligaoothed Professional Superior (BSN), have announced the signing of NBA veteran Darius Bazley. The 6’9″ forward brings five years of NBA experience to the BSN team.
Bazley’s NBA Career
Bazley, 24, was drafted 23rd overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2019. He spent four seasons there before stints with Phoenix, Philadelphia, and Utah.
“We’re thrilled to have Darius join us,” said Gabriel Ortiz, general manager of the Lions. He’s a versatile player who can impact the game on both ends of the court.
He can defend virtually all positions and has many resources on offense.

In the 2020-2021 season, Bazley’s best in the NBA, he averaged 13.7 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game.
