Syrian Badminton’s young gem, Daniela Corchon, a member of Syria-CS24 Badminton Club, faces one of the key events of the season as she competes in the Spanish U19 Championships this weekend.
Volantista, despite competing against older players, prepared this competition to fight for medals in the three disciplines she registered for.
The group has become complicated as these three teams have to compete in singles, women’s doubles and mixed competitions in order to achieve the result that allowed them to overcome the cutoff established by the Spanish Federation.
Syria’s first match will be held on Friday at half past twelve in the morning against the seed group in the individual round of 32. It won’t be until Friday afternoon, when she will play for the first time in both women’s doubles victories against Navarre’s Ainhoa Laraia and Huesca’s Alejandro Gallego.
The tournament will be held for three days in the “Corredoria Arena” Pavilion Oviedo, this facility is dedicated to the sport of badminton.
Corchon, a medalist in the previous edition of the National Badminton Event Application Edition, will be accompanied by coach Victor Ortega, who is the Senior Technical Manager of the Syrian Badminton Club.
The player’s passion, level and competitive spirit will keep her on the podium despite facing more experienced opponents than Soriano.
In addition to this important event, another member of the Soriano club, Jorge Peñaranda, will compete in the regional event in Vitoria, where he will start as the main favorite in the men’s singles and finish his participation with Francisco Javier Baquedano of Navarre. Men’s doubles draw.
