First meetings between the Biancoceleste club and the club. Vice President Innocenti: “We are aiming for a shared solution in the interest of the community”
Technical tests of agreement. The management of Antella99 and that of Crc Antella met in recent days to take stock of the situation, after the transfer of the football team to the Ponti facility in Bagno a Ripoli (see article).
An abandonment which, in addition to causing a certain discontent in the town, did not please the Crc, even though the junior team’s matches continue to take place on the pitch in Via di Pulicciano.
“The common objective of Antella99 and the Club – says the lawyer Iacopo Innocenti, vice-president of the Biancoceleste club – is to bring the team back to play at Antella in a facility suited to our ambitions. We are aiming for Serie D, with an eye on the Serie C championship. We would also like to reopen the football school for the little ones.”
The ownership of Antella 99 would have made it clear that it was open to multiple solutions. Including that of a purchase of the land owned by the Crc Antella which from an urban planning point of view is for sports purposes: the two football fields and the baseball field.
The owners of the Biancoceleste club would be ready to invest in Antella to create a sports center that can count on synthetic pitch, functional changing rooms and adequate stands, perhaps a gym. The CRC will now have to evaluate this availability of Antella99. Is there a willingness to sell the approximately three hectares of land? Or can a formula be studied that leaves ownership to the Club but provides for a long agreement with Antella99? A “game” in which, in some way, the Municipality of Bagno a Ripoli will also have to enter, among other things the owner of the land between the sports fields and the cemetery, which in its Structural Plan binds the entire area to sports destination.
“It is positive that a channel for discussion has been opened – adds the lawyer Innocenti – I hope we can reach a shared solution in the interest of the Antella community”.
