The Supérate 2024 Intercollegiate Swimming Games, held in the city of Santa Marta, exceeded all expectations. With the participation of more than 20 schools and a total of 59 young swimmers, this sporting event established itself as one of the most important of the year in the region.
The games, which took place over two days, had the support of the Santa Marta District Mayor’s Office and the Municipal Institute of Recreation and Sports (Inred). The main objective of the event was to select the best swimmers to represent the department in the National Intercollegiate Games, which will take place in the city of Jerez next November.
“This tournament has not only been an opportunity for young people to demonstrate their swimming skills, but also to promote sports and healthy competition between the city’s schools.”said Dávila.
The final results of the competition were announced on Wednesday afternoon, where the winners of each category were awarded. The organizers highlighted the importance of this type of events for the development of sports in the region and thanked all the institutions involved for the support.
