Miguel Ángel Bedoya is a law student and becomes, according to data provided by the Marinilla council, the youngest person to hold the presidency of a Municipal Council in Colombia.
In his speech, the leader highlighted the importance of collaborating and working together with the other councilors, the municipal mayor, Julio César Serna, and all the citizens of Marinilla.
“I assume this responsibility with the firm intention of working tirelessly for Marinilla, listening to each of the sectors and ensuring that our decisions always respond to the well-being of all,” stated Bedoya.
The new president of the corporation becomes a reference for youth and renewal in local politics. He says that he arrives with the firm commitment to work for the unity of the Council and for the well-being of the entire community of this town in Eastern Antioquia.
The president of the corporation emphasized his commitment to political control and the promotion of key projects for the development of the city. “We will be a vigilant Council, which acts with transparency, firmness and respect. Our objective is to strengthen the foundations for the growth and progress of Marinilla,” he said.
The board of directors of the Marinilla Municipal Council is complemented by Gustavo Alberto Gómez Hoyos, as first vice president, and Rubén Vásquez Vallejo, as second vice president.
