At around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2025, police were patrolling the RD 619 when they spotted a car behaving suspiciously. As they approached, the driver discarded a sachet containing 2 grams of cocaine and attempted to flee the scene.

Arrest and Assault on an Officer

Despite trying to evade the police, the driver was eventually apprehended. However, he refused to submit to an ethylotest, indicating a high likelihood of alcohol intoxication. On the way to the hospital for a blood test, the man struck a police officer in the tibia and made death threats against his colleague, repeatedly calling him by his first name.
