On Sunday night, the Los Angeles Clippers narrowly beat the Denver Nuggets with a score of 126-122.
The Clippers, led by James Harden, who scored an impressive 39 points, were able to overcome a strong Nuggets team. Harden’s performance included making all 13 of his free throws and contributing nine rebounds and 11 assists. Norman Powell also made a big impact, adding 28 points to the Clippers’ tally.
Despite the loss, the Nuggets put up a strong fight, thanks to Nikola Jokic, who recorded his eighth triple-double of the season with 28 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists. Jokic’s efforts kept the Nuggets competitive throughout the game, but they couldn’t stop the Clippers’ late-game surge.
In the game, during the 4th quarter, while fighting for a rebound, Michael Porter Jr. poked in the eye by James Harden. This led to a violent interaction with a Clippers fan, who rudely told Porter:
“Poor child, are you hurt? You want to make mom cry?”
