The internally displaced children of Karpala were, on Saturday December 21, 2024, in joy thanks to a Christmas tree organized by the “Agir pour them” foundation at the town hall of district no. 11.

Songs, dances and smiles were there at the town hall of district no. 11. 200 internally displaced children from Karpala celebrated, on Saturday December 21, 2024 in the courtyard of the town hall of district no. 11 (Karpala), the Christmas party in advance thanks to the “Agir pour les” foundation under the theme ”You are not alone”. According to its president, Pauline Compaoré, the initiative aimed to offer these children a moment of joy. “The main goal was for the children not to feel alone. Faced with the precarious humanitarian situation our country is going through, it is our duty to mobilize to support those in need,” she declared.

Ms. Compaoré praised the generosity of the partners and volunteers who made this Christmas tree possible. Thanks to their commitment, gifts and a meal were offered to the children. An act welcomed by the president of the special delegation, Madou Yaméogo, for whom this Christmas tree proved that even in difficult times, simple gestures can brighten lives. “I would like to thank the foundation for this salutary gesture towards internally displaced people. Thank you to all the partners who contributed to this great initiative. May God bless you abundantly,” he addressed the donors.
