Quenda’s Impressive Fee
The majority of the transfer fee, a staggering £43.5m (€52.1m), is for Geovany Quenda. This amount also includes potential performance-based bonuses
worth an additional £1.2m during the next season. Additionally, Chelsea will shoulder half the solidarity payments
due to the clubs where Quenda spent time during his development, starting from the age of 12, such as Benfica.
Essugo’s Significant Transfer Fee
The remaining fee, £18.5m (€22.3m), is allocated to Dário Essugo. This transfer also includes a similar solidarity payment structure but with no additional bonuses
