the essentials The Blaye-les-Mines judo club (CAM) was very active in December, to the great pleasure of its members and their families.

At the beginning of December, during the first departmental event in Réalmont, 23 young judokas (aged 6 to 10) were able to compete against other Tarn licensees.

A very good competition with remarkable results: 9 gold medals, 5 silver and 8 bronze.

More than the result, the club teachers noted the excellent state of mind, the camaraderie but also the commitment shown by these athletes.

December was also the occasion for the first weapons in arbitration for 3 licensees: Amélia, Aurélia and Marius. They were able to put their technical and regulatory knowledge to good use.

A remarkable state of mind

The club is proud to see this type of “volunteer” vocation blossom, which is so important these days.

Moreover, Marcel Jeanne (teacher at the club), was rewarded by the departmental council for his commitment as a referee during the Tarn Sports Trophies evening at Cap Découverte.

Finally, the club organized a special Christmas evening, bringing together each “parents and children” group.

It was a very nice evening, friendly and sporty, which ended with the presentation of small gifts to each of the licensees!

Remember that the CAM received the Bronze Label from the French Judo Federation last October.

This first distinction rewards the club for its dynamism and the quality of its sporting offer, and also rewards the sports teaching carried out by its qualified teachers, Mickael Delon, 5th dan, Marcel Jeanne, 4th dan, and the faithful Professor Didier Perez.
