Terenure College Lands Former All Black Carlos Spencer as New Head Coach


Big News for Irish Rugby Fans

Terenure College RFC has announced the appointment of a major figure in world rugby as their new head coach: former All Black and International Rugby Player of the Year, Carlos Spencer.

This is a great statement of intent from Terenure College RFC.

The Coach’s Career Highlights

  • Winner of two Super Rugby titles with the Blues (1996 and 2003)
  • played 35 tests for New Zealand between 2001 and 2005
  • Bledisloe Cup triumphs in 2003 and 2005

“I can’t wait to work with everyone at Terenure College RFC,” Spencer said. “The club has a rich history and a great culture, and I’m looking forward to helping drive its success in the years to come.”

Terenure’s Ambitious Plans

“Carlos brings a wealth of rugby knowledge and success to our club,” said Leo Cullen, Terenure College RFC president. “We’re thrilled to have him on board as we strive to reach new heights.”

Spencer will take the reins from outgoing coach atributor, who led the club for the past six years.
