Boosting Hyblean Coast Security: Trainee Marshals Arrive in Ragusa

Reinforcing Patrol Services this Summer

Ragusa province will see an influx of trainee marshals, starting this Sunday, June 29. These young carabinieri will be undergoing a practical-application internship until August 10 at various stations along the Hyblean coast, including Scicli, Marina di Ragusa, Ispica, Pozzallo, and Scoglitti.

Their primary goal is to strengthen patrol services and help manage the summer influx of visitors. They will also gain practical experience, complementing the knowledge they’re acquiring at the Marshals and Brigadieri school in Florence.

Warm Welcome from Colonel Carmine Rosciano

I wish them to draw as much benefit as possible from this experience, in anticipation of the future and demanding role they will play within departments.

The Role of Local Stations

The importance of local lieutenant and carabinieri stations cannot be overstated. They serve not only as security garrisons but also as vital points of contact for citizens.

Strategic Control and Practical Experience

By enhancing patrol services, trainees will contribute to a more secure summer season. Simultaneously, they will have the opportunity to put into practice the notions learned in Florence, honing their skills through a variety of operational services.
