The African Center of Expertise in Management, Economy and Innovation (CAGEI) informs the public of the opening of registrations for the 7th promotion of the certificate in Management & Governance of Public Procurement (MGMP).

This certificate aims to provide complete coverage of the public procurement management process, from planning to execution including the crucial control phase. It offers participants solid benchmarks on the fundamental, modern and operational principles and techniques of public procurement management.

Target audience

All actors in the public order chain.

Anyone interested in practicing in the field and wishing to acquire solid technical knowledge.

Training content and programs

The certificate is organized around 8 modules over a total time volume of 165 hours. It lasts 3 months and is administered in evening course mode from Monday to Friday from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Module 1: Legal and institutional framework for public procurement (Led by Mr Yaméogo M., Expert trainer and certified practitioner of ARCOP)

Module 2: Typology and public procurement procedures (Led by Mr Yaméogo G., Expert trainer and certified practitioner of ARCOP)

Module 3: Definition of needs and market planning (Led by Dr Kafimbou H., Teacher-Researcher at UNZ, Expert trainer and certified practitioner of ARCOP)

Module 4: public sector option/Preparation of tender files/Private sector option/Editing of submission files (Led by Mr Kambou O., Expert trainer and certified practitioner of ARCOP)

Module 5: Evaluation of submission files (Led by Mr Zongo A., Expert trainer and certified practitioner of ARCOP)

Module 6: Development of contractual documents and administrative and technical monitoring of contract execution (Led by Mr Ouédrogo S., Expert trainer and certified practitioner of ARCOP)

NB: the speakers are certified MSFP (Specialist Manager in Professional Training)

Access conditions

Access to certificates is open to candidates holding at least the BAC. An exemption is possible for candidates who do not have a BAC but have professional experience in the field.

Certificate validation conditions

Certificate validation is subject to very strict conditions. A minimum general average of 12/20 must be obtained for the issuance of a certificate.

450,000 F CFA for individual applications
