French Pair Battles to Victory

Thom Gicquel and Delphine Delrue have advanced to the final of the Orléans Masters after a hard-fought three-set victory over Taiwan’s Liu Kuang-Heng and Jheng Yu-Chieh on Saturday. The French duo prevailed with a score of 18-21, 21-18, 21-16.

“I reckon I had the cart on my butt to start with. We had a long waiting period,” Thom Gicquel said with a smile. “But we came back well. We played well. They also played well, we could have been frustrated but we remained calm. In the third, we continued to perform hard.”
