• Carlos Mendoza (IF): The 25-year-old infielder batted .287 with seven home runs and 41 RBIs in 97 games across two minor leagues in 2025, split between Level AA and A.
• Michael Plassmeyer (LHP): The 29-year-old left-handed pitcher has big league experience, most recently with the Philadelphia Phillies in 2023, where he posted a 22.09 ERA in 3.2 innings.
• Jorge Alcala (RHP): The 30-year-old reliever has played for three teams in 2025, sporting a 4.29 ERA in 200 career games over seven seasons.
• Rafael Lantigua (IF): The 27-year-old infielder has spent seven seasons in the Blue Jays organization. Last year, he played in the Phillies’ farm system, batting .230 in 125 games.

Spring Training Schedule

Pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to camp in Dunedin, Florida, on Wednesday, February 11. Full team workouts begin on Monday, February 16. The Blue Jays will face the Philadelphia Phillies in their first preseason game on Saturday, February 21.
