Transferred from Minnesota to New York shortly before the start of the season, Karl-Anthony Towns is preparing to return to his former franchise for the first time since his departure. The opportunity for the pivot to be honest about Rudy Gobert and others.
Not sure that Karl-Anthony Towns regrets its change of scenery in 2024-25, even if it was not initially on the program. Not only are the Knicks third in the Eastern Conference with 16 wins for 10 losses, but the interior is also a hit on an individual level by being the best rebounder in the league with 13.9 shots per game, to which he adds nearly 25 points and three assists decisive average.

I don’t know how they will welcome me. But I know that every day I put on the Timberwolves jersey, I gave my best, even when I wasn’t 100%. I gave them everything I had mentally, physically and spiritually. I was there for nine years, so I go there with a lot of pride and joy for the memories I have.
I know the last time I was there, I looked in the mirror and I knew that I had given to the state, to the city, to the organization there everything that I could give and even surprised myself by giving more than I thought.
His departure a few days before the start of the season may have been hasty, but the big man retains no animosity towards his former team.
As a reminder, Towns spent no less than nine seasons in the Wolves jersey, although it was initially thought that he would embody the future of the franchise. Unfortunately for him, his first seasons were spent within a chaotic franchise, which also struggled to recover from the death of coach Flip Saunders. Destiny therefore wanted it otherwise, but he still has very good memories.
