Ten years ago, Anne-Marie Burel had the crazy idea to create a dance association. Together with Manuella Fèvre, we joined the project and asked Sabrina Groussin, dance teacher, to join us; which he did with enthusiasm. To make the section live, we need 60 dancers. This is how Choré’Ame was born, according to Sophie Avenard, member since the launch and president since 2018; he recently passed the torch to Aurélie Cailleteau.
And to continue the lessons are taught in the community hall, then in the motor skills room of the Sainte-Thérèse school. Faced with the growing number of people, more than 200 so far, a specific room is needed and the municipality signed this project.
Since November 2023, the dancers have been developing in good conditions supervised by three teachers Sabrina Groussin, Delphine Brochard and Maëlle Cerceau. Services are expanded: jazz, pilates, ballroom dancing, dynamic yoga, Hip-Hop; a classical dance section was studied.
The association organizes an annual gala, offers various courses and participates in municipal activities, such as the Music Festival and the Christmas market. For the end of the year, the association organizes yoga sessions for children.
