The public services of a rural town located 75 kilometers from Solenzo (capital of the province) reopened their doors on Monday December 9, 2024 after four years of absence for reasons of insecurity. The prefecture, town hall, health center and agriculture department are all functional. After the raising of colors to mark the presence of the State, it was around symbolic reforestation with a few trees planted in the ground.
The population, very enthusiastic about this return of public services, launched an appeal to all the sons and daughters of the commune to support the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP).
This return was possible thanks to the bravery and combativeness of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and VDP who were able to recover the city from the hands of the terrorists.
According to the President of the special delegation of the commune, Emmanuel Sawadogo, was delighted with the holding of the first municipal session last Friday, December 6 at the town hall. “Thanks to the FDS and VDP, we came back. We will do our best to meet the challenges at all levels for the benefit of the population”he argued.
