The TV 1860 Nassau badminton team has surprised many by finishing in second place in the Rhineland League. After earning promotion last summer, the team initially aimed simply to maintain its position in the league.

From Promotion to Podium

The team’s success this season has been a remarkable achievement, exceeding initial expectations. They are now preparing for their final match of the season against the newly crowned champions, BC Remagen II, scheduled for March 21st.

Club History and Activities

TV 1860 Nassau e. V. Has a long and proud history. The club is currently seeking to update its logo to reflect both its heritage and its future. A competition is underway to design a fresh logo, with submissions accepted in either a circular or square format, utilizing the club colors of blue and orange.

Beyond Badminton: A Multi-Sport Club

While the badminton team is currently enjoying success, TV 1860 Nassau is also involved in table tennis. The club participates in the DTTB-Region Süd-West point play competition, with teams competing in various age groups, including adults, women, and youth.

Logo Redesign Competition

The club is actively seeking input from its members and friends in the redesign of its logo. Entrants are encouraged to incorporate references to the history and identity of the city of Nassau, such as the Lahn river, historical buildings, or regional symbols like the Nassauer Löwe (Nassau Lion).
